Where is My Mind?

Oh hi!
I forgot to update everyone that I will be staying in the hospital for the duration. My liver enzymes are high & other stuff. They just want to keep a close eye on me. Anyways, if you have talked w/ me on this hospital adventure you will know my major gripe about all of this is these irritating baby monitoring belts. I realize some of you "old timers" won't have a clue what I'm talking about. So, we took pictures:

I know, I know. My belly is gross! lol. So, see those little blue circles that the cords are coming out of? Those are like the doppler things they use to hear the babies heart beats in the md office. They connect to a machine that records the data:

The orange numbers are the boys' heart rates. So, the main problem w/ this thing is the boys loathe it! They will kick, punch & elbow the monitor parts every chance they get. They move around every time the nurse finds them. I have to be monitored continuously. And those belts are pretty uncomfortable after a while. Also, very very itchy!
But, still the same plan as before. We will meet the boys August 30th. It will just be harder for me to stay patient. :p

For Meme

I have a Meme. (Great Aunt) She has been like a 2nd grandmother to me & all of us kids all of our lives.

Well, 2nd grandmother to me because technically I only have 1 that I was able to meet & have a relationship with. Meme can't travel anymore. She has feet problems & ya know, she is 88. Anyways, Meme asked to see pictures of the nursery all set up. (She writes *real* letters to us kids almost every week!) & since I basically opened this blog so she & my grandma could see pictures of all that has been going on, she get's her wish. (They have webtv. It doesn't like Facebook.) Michael, Mira & Rick did a great job setting up. I just wish I could have been there. Anyways, on to the pictures:

We only have 1 crib presently. Don't worry! The other is on the way. It will be placed on the other side of the changing table.

The Babies Have Clearly Won...

I'm not sure if everyone knows but, I have been keeping score of how many times I've had to go to the hospital while pregnant with the twins. At last count, I think they were up by 5. Well, beginning Tuesday (08/14) they swept the series, stole the show, won the game etc. How you ask? Because I have been in the hospital since Tuesday. Don't worry tho! Everyone is just fine & we are being taken care of very well. It was originally thought that I had preclampsia. Further tests show I have cholestasis. Which (in my terms) is my liver working triple time & thus taking a break of sorts. It is VERY treatable. I'm basically just super itchy, symptom-wise. But, they are giving me meds to help with all this. So, the plan is for me to stay here (In the hospital.) for a couple more days for observation. If all goes well, I'll go home. (But will still be monitored a couple times a week) & we will proceed with the plan of an August 30th C-section.

Monkey Nursery

 Yesterday everyone & their mom (literally) came over to help paint the twins nursery. It turned out super awesome! I will post more pics when we (Michael) situates the furniture.
